Abstract The molded pulp material is a popular environmentally friendly material, and many countries are strengthening its application in packaging. This paper aims at the material’s mechanical properties. A compression test, which fits actual work conditions applied. And then use standard linear solid (SLS) model to analyze results show that properties of significantly different between surface plane side plane, due layered distribution fibers. In SLS curve fitting results, stiffness parallel spring element under edge load greater than load. indicates long-term stable loads more suitable for materials designed with surface, dynamic vibration energy needs be on surface.
